A reasonable story made better by very good narrator
Gary Littman, narrator does an excellent job in making the characters come to life. Unlike others I've listened to he manages so many different voices that you don't get confused which character is talking. I had a little issue with the ending of the story itself in that it was a little weak hence the 4* for that. The narrator made this book better!

Great story
A cop who needs to get away after the death of his partner goes to work in Alaska. Seeing him settle in to and become part of the community was really enjoyable, but seeing him fall in love and get the bad guy was great.

Set in a great location!
A very enjoyable story line - Nora kept me guessing right to the end!
The narrator, Gary Littman, gets in tune with the characters which enhanced the Story greatly.

Really enjoyed this one!
Great story. I had a feeling I’d guessed right, but still loved finding out the truth. Goes to show the secrets don’t always stay secret, even after many years! Looking forward to my next Nora Robert’s audiobook.

I narrator did all the voices so well that I knew exactly who was speaking before he said!

Great story and location
The story is skilfully written with amazing descriptions- you feel like you are there in Alaska. It is both heartwarming and gritty and with finely drawn characters. I found more humour from listening to the book and the narration was excellent

Best Nora Roberts Audiobook
Great story with lots of fabulous background in Alaska. Wonderful characters and humourous little vignettes and sub-stories. Read the book and THEN bought the audiobook - Gary Littman does a superb job of narration including good distinctive voices and his rhythm, pace and pauses really bring out the meaning and flow of the narrative. Lovely voice too!

Struggled with narrator
Good audio book struggled with narrators voice at the beginning, but saying that he did a good acting job of the other voice overs. Love Nora Robert's books think if it wasn't for the narrators voice I would have given it 5 stars.
