Excellent book!
Very informative, and covers all the touchy subjects that you want to be covered like, cell cloning, gmo's, and gene therapy. Although some subjects were touched on very briefly, enough information was included.

Really informative
This is such a great course to get a Birds Eye view of genetics. I always regretted not following biology in high school and this was exactly the knowledge I felt I was lacking.

Interesting introduction to genetics
An interesting tour of the basics of genetics with some helpful examples and context. A little outdated now given when it was produced but the fundamentals are still relevant

Fascinating and well executed
I used this to support my year three biology degree. It really helped me when the books were too much effort.
Quite detailed but still comprehensive and interesting. Obviously it cannot be a replacement for university books, but an excellent supplement.
The narrator was clearly a comfortable expert on the subject.
I really enjoyed it.

Sadava plants the intelligence gene in your head
I read history at University and failed, even the most basic science exam at school. This course has explained me a whole area that it is important to know and understand, and which previously was a closed book. It is enjoyable, comprehensible, comprehensive, and compassionate. Thank you

Very hard to follow
For the most part it was difficult to keep track of the book without zoning off on all the overly complicated explanations. it wasnt a bad book for the most part though, the middle sections just felt like jargon at some point.
