Publisher's Summary

The explosive new book from Dinesh D'Souza, author of the New York Times best sellers Hillary's America, America, and Obama's America.

What is "the big lie" of the Democratic Party? That conservatives - and President Donald Trump in particular - are fascists. Nazis, even. In a typical comment, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow says the Trump era is reminiscent of "what it was like when Hitler first became chancellor."

But in fact this audacious lie is a complete inversion of the truth. Yes, there is a fascist threat in America - but that threat is from the Left and the Democratic Party. The Democratic left has an ideology virtually identical with fascism and routinely borrows tactics of intimidation and political terror from the Nazi Brownshirts.

To cover up their insidious fascist agenda, Democrats loudly accuse President Trump and other Republicans of being Nazis - an obvious lie, considering the GOP has been fighting the Democrats over slavery, genocide, racism, and fascism from the beginning.

Now, finally, Dinesh D'Souza explodes the Left's big lie. He expertly exonerates President Trump and his supporters, then uncovers the Democratic Left's long, cozy relationship with Nazism: how the racist and genocidal acts of early Democrats inspired Adolf Hitler's campaign of death; how fascist philosophers influenced the great 20th century lions of the American Left; and how today's anti-free speech, anti-capitalist, anti-religious liberty, pro-violence Democratic Party is a frightening simulacrum of the Nazi Party. Hitler coined the term "the big lie" to describe a lie that "the great masses of the people" will fall for precisely because of how bold and monstrous the lie is. In The Big Lie, D'Souza shows that the Democratic Left's orchestrated campaign to paint President Trump and conservatives as Nazis to cover up its own fascism is, in fact, the biggest lie of all.

    "very informative"

I looked & was able to confirm its points are accurate. Leftists I know are throwing temper tantrums over this book. But aside from shallow talking points they can't debate against it.

    "Wakeup call"

This book is a wakeup call for anyone who is a capitalist at heart. Not just the Lincoln Republican but the Locke Democrat as well. Dinesh makes the case quite clearly, but misses how the halls of academia are now camps of indoctrination. So I recommend that once you are done with this book if you have not before listened / read it you should follow up with.

"Understanding Postmodernism," by Stephen Hicks Ph.D.
You may also find informative: "Nietzsche and the Nazis," also by Stephen Hicks Ph.D. as well as "The Gulag Archipelago," by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.

"#CoffinNails to the Anti-American, Leftist Agenda"

I cannot recommend this book enough it's one of the greatest books I've ever 'read' [Listened on tape]. Dinesh D'Souza absolutely knocks it out of the park with a grand slam on this one. There is so much intellectual ammo that can be used at your disposal after u finish this. I felt horrible and demoralized by the media this year, last and in years past... but now i totally 'get it'. I understand their tactics much better. This book lays out all the missing puzzle pieces. PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE! This is such an an important book! 11/10

"Dry. D'Souza should have read it."

I normally enjoy D'Souza. However the subject matter is already complicated. The narrator doesn't help. He is very boring. D'Souza would have read it with much more animation.

    I give up.

    "A must read"

An absolutely incredible book! This well-sourced history of the radical Left in Europe and America should be essential reading for all. Especially those who are interested in preventing a fascist takeover of the American system.

"Unwinding the paradox we live in"

The book carefully lays out the facts that explain what we are seeing in today's political landscape. Intuitively what we see in the news seems incomplete and without balanced explanations. The book does not provide a credible rational defense of the left actions, but rather provides an excellent historical perspective that explains the direction the left is taking. The book provides countless examples of how we see how wrong is labeled aa right and injustice labeled as justice. We can better understand the Natzi tactics used to dup seduce the fine German people.

    "Thought provoking and interesting "
What made the experience of listening to The Big Lie the most enjoyable?

The thought provoking handling of the subject matter. As in a popular 90's movie, you can choose the blue pill and continue on believing what you have been told or not told or you can choose the red pill, read the book and ask your self some difficult questions - regardless of whether you like or dislike the author or anything else. Choose intellectual flexibility, read the book do your research and choose. Either way you have made a decision versus being led blindly. It is a well written and researched book. Likely better for paperback if you want to digest the materials slowly and research the notes, etc. A great listen in Audible if you are a commuter as I am. I am sure this book will evoke a response.

What about David Cochran Heath’s performance did you like?

Well read clear concise and excellent pronunciation of words in three different languages. Well done.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

This book is best read in slices so one can digest the material and the author's intentions/purpose of presenting the material for intellectual digestion.

    Any additional comments?

Very appropriate and timely considering the ongoing issues especially in our country.
