Publisher's Summary

Two books that will open your eyes to the human mind.

Book 1: Some criminals are psychopaths, and some psychopaths are criminals, but for the most part, the psychopaths among us are ordinary people with distinct traits and qualities. You might even know some yourself, or perhaps you have been manipulated by one in the past. In this book, you will learn, among others:

  • Some differences between sociopaths and psychopaths
  • What role a conscience plays in the psychopath's mind
  • How to see symptoms and signs in both children and adults, and how to prevent children from being affected by it entirely
  • Manipulation strategies psychopaths use to get their way
  • Examples of some of the most infamous, extreme criminals who showed no regrets
  • Several ways to spot psychopaths and recognize their behavior as being potentially harmful
  • Various root causes of psychopathy

Book 2: Although those with personality disorders are all different, it is common for a large part of society to have at least some kind of disorder. Sociopaths have a distinct disorder that makes them different from all the other ones. In this book, you will learn:

  • What sets sociopaths apart from others.
  • Possible causes for sociopathy.
  • The main differences between narcissists, borderliners, schizophrenics, and others with specific disorders.
  • Which dangerous sociopaths made the world burn and destroyed the lives of those around them.
  • How to handle sociopaths more effectively by protecting yourself from their sinister tactics.
  • A variety of ways to treat sociopaths or minimize the symptoms.

    "a clear deeper sight"

I found this book most helpful in that the author included his own thoughts and experiences on the matter, but he also included interviews of those patients willing to relate their thoughts and motives with their activities being examined. It's not medical level, but it goes far deeper than most popular writings on this subject.

    "best book"

Excellent, succinct, lucid explanation of who psychpaths are, the types of psychopaths in existence, how psychpaths think, and how to determine
the point at which a person is psychpathic. The book also has useful distinctions between the psychpathic narcissist and the psychopath, and it also explains the narcissism of the psychpath.

If you only buy one book on this topic, buy this one. The scales will fall from your eyes if you deal with one of these people. You will have the tools to be able to evaluate their actions.

I love this book. I'm reading through for the second time as I prepare for my doctorate in Forensic Psychology with a focus on psychopathy. Much of the book is easy to follow but also detailed on the biology, DNA and other advancements that we've made in criminal science.

    "Enjoy listening about psychopathology!!"

First book on psychopathology in which I couldn't wait to turn to the next page! Entertaining as well as packed with information. I'll be recommending Albert Rogers book to my students. Quick, pithy, and research informed- my favorite type of read! Albert Rogers breaks down a complicated topic into a digestible, informative primer on a controversial topic. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants to know more!

    "An interesting topic..."

Having to move everyday around with a sociopath really is a difficult thing that a person can face. If one cannot handle the pressure that they bring to you, you will easily break down and everything will start to fall into pieces. Thanks to this book because I have learned many strategies and techniques on how to deal with them at work and with your life. Things are going smoothly because this one taught me on how to counter manipulate sociopaths and control them instead of you being controlled. I am so grateful to have read this one and thankful enough to appreciate what others cannot.

    "Very informative book!"

This book was well written and interesting. The information is certainly useful. I read a book a while back that says of the population are psychopaths. Given that frequency almost any factual information would be helpful. I recommend this book to anyone wanting information in this area.

"A good book to start listening"

I really enjoyed this book. The terms psychopath and sociopath are thrown around so much in today's media and movies that it is difficult to determine what they mean, other than these terms are used to describe bad people. This books takes a good hard look at what these terms mean, and the author goes to great lengths to define them. From these peoples childhood and teen years, to what they are capable of as adults, even the neuroscience behind these terms, the author covers a lot of ground in a short space of time. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone with an interest in mental health. Also, anybody that just wonders what these terms mean, such as in the context of a crime TV show or a news article. A great book!

    "An excellent resource!"

I really enjoyed reading it in fact I read it all in once! It is easy to read and definitely worth to have! I found it particularly interesting as I studied criminology but I'm sure that it's intriguing for everyone! Well done to the writer. A very clear and concise read. Very informative and helpful in my mental health private practice. I enjoyed that, on a topic this heavy, I even got to laugh throughout the book too due to the author's humor!
