Summary

Meditations is a series of personal writings by Marcus Aurelius, Roman Emperor from 161 to 180 AD, recording his private notes to himself and ideas on Stoic philosophy.

Marcus Aurelius wrote the 12 books of the Meditations as a source for his own guidance and self-improvement.

These books have been carefully adapted into modern English form to allow for easy listening.

Enjoy!

Such a shame about the narrator.

One of the greatest philosophy books ever written, in a more than decent translation, ruined by a ridiculously chirpy narration that sounds like Fred from Scooby Doo talking about his favourite doughnuts.

incredible

Life changing book, paradigm shifting stuff. The more things change, the more they seem to remain the same. 2000yr old wisdom, yet it still applies today.
