For a clear understanding

Good basic information has given me an understanding of Javascript. Well written and easy to follow instructions made it a lot easier than I thought it would be. Its a great book to learn javascript. You will learn how to write functions, use data from text boxes, create IF-THEN conditionals, program loops.I guess it helps all beginners I would recommended this book to anyone like myself who is new to this subject.

Author Nailed it...

This book is a very easy to understand introduction to JavaScript. It is a great beginner's guide for anyone who is wanting to learn the basics of writing JavaScript. It doesn't go in depth into any one aspect of JS, but instead explains all the different necessary points. The narrator has a good accent which is easy to understand and flows nicely.

Excellent book!

Narrator was great. subject manor and order if presentation great. Listening the actual code is hard to follow. long strings of code need to be broken up a little more. PDF is an excellent tool. I would recommend..

nice books

listeners will graduate from this book of basics by being able to create a program on their own. Javascript has a number of uses for voracious programmers to apply. A spelling correction and the addition of hyphens would improve the narrative portions. author is very knowledgeable on the topic of Javascript

great future

This is a great guide for beginners. The author really spells out the concepts and commands in a way that is easy to understand. There is a brief history on JavaScript and how it was developed and named. There is also a lot of information on the benefits you can get from using JavaScript to program. There are a lot of terms and ideas in this book that are new to me, as I am just a beginner, but I feel like I have a much better understanding of the process now. I will be using this book as a reference in the future!

good progrming

I've tried to learn programming for a really long time, and I found most of the books on this topic very confusing. This book really helped me understand programming and javascript on a very deep level. I can now say that I'm fairly proficient in javascript.
I can definitively recommend it to anyone who wants to learn javascript and programming

I have been working with Javascript and Jquery for about 3 years now and when I started it was a bumpy road. I wish I would have found this book first before starting my journey. I really like and appreciate details in the chapter about saving money on various stupid things. Some of those are extremely helpful and true also. We spend money on things we don't even need!
