Summary

ECONOMICS is all around us. It exists in our everyday lives, whether we like it or not. We all hear about prices, about money, about the Fed. We see stocks hit "new highs" on the Dow Jones, while other companies go into bankruptcy. The nightly news tells us about new legislation that has been passed by Congress to solve rising fuel costs.

Does it all affect us? It most certainly does!

Can we just ignore economics? No, not unless you want to live on a patch of land and grow your own food, have plenty of water, and make all your own material things, like clothes, shoes, paper and so forth.

It's not very practical, is it?

It's time we found out what it really means, and how to apply it to our own lives.

Let's study economics.
