Summary
Antallet af hjemmerøverier er i de seneste år steget markant i Danmark. Vi har ydermere kunnet konstatere, at gerningsmændene til nogle af de mest voldsomme hjemmerøverier har været udlændinge fra Øst- og Sydeuropa. I det hele taget har udlændinge i flere tilfælde end tidligere været repræsenteret i disse typer sager. Både antallet af sager, samt den i flere tilfælde meget voldsomme udførelse, har givet genlyd helt ind på Christiansborg og har resulteret i, at politikerne i foråret 2011 har kvitteret med en forhøjelse af strafferammen.
