Maeve retrieves all of the magic shards but it comes at great cost. Once freed from her bonds Maeve is filled with bloodlust and makes a grave mistake which she must correct for all of their sakes. All curses are broken releasing demons from the underworld who grow in strength and numbers, on a mission to devastate the lands. Maeve having regained her strength and powers heads straight into battle with her fellow warriors, but struggles to abide by her teachings and destiny. With the weight of saving the world heavy on her shoulders, she must make some devastating choices which will determine the fate of the world.

Brilliant story and great ending to an epic trilogy, and it was left open for the series to continue. I would definitely recommend this series.
