I loved how family oriented they both were, both their families were so important and played a big role in their lives. There were plenty of distractions and hurdles they both had to face. This was an emotional and intense story and I really enjoyed listening. Both narrators did such a wonderful job, they really brought the characters to life and gave them personality.
Both Ryan Lee Dunlap, and Aubrey Vincent did such a fantastic job bringing G.K. Brady’s story to life and giving all of the characters that touch of extra depth only a good narrator can do.

This audiobook is incredible which is narrated by 2 fantastically talented actors Ryan Lee Dunlop and Audrey Vincent.They do such a great job at bringing this whole story to life and making the characters feel so real.I absolutely loved listening to their voices.
I was so charmed by this book and Mac is maybe my favourite so far he is just so swoon worthy,honestly I adored him.
Mac is a single father and a widow,he gave up so much to care for his terminally ill wife,which cost him his job from being the number one starting goal tender to back up goalie.
But Even though it is obvious he is too good to be number two Mac takes it all in his stride he has no choice.So he uproots his family moves to Denver to play for the Blizzard as their back up goalie..But maybe the move isn't so bad when he meets Mia in a bar and they get on so well...she conjures up feelings he hadn't had in a long time.
So when they leave the bar he doesn't expect to see her again that is until he meets his new realtor and it is Mia the woman at the bar helping him find the new home for him and his 2 children.
The attraction and chemistry is so apparent with these two and Mac makes it clear he is interested in Mia..but Mia ignores his advances.
Mia works so hard to make a better life for her family,especially for her sister and Nephew...she lives in guilt towards her sister...Plus her Mum is very sick and she needs to take care of her to help her father who isn't doing well with the emotions of seeing his wife so sick.
Mia does everything for everyone else and never takes care of herself and her needs so even though she really likes Mac she refuses his continuous advances..OK Mia did frustrate the hell out of me at times because she kept rejecting Mac and I was just gobsmacked..Because Mac is a dreamboat so sweet,funny,gorgeous and sexy I was so baffled by her reasons to push Mac away.
Things get even more complicated when Mia's sister becomes the nanny to Mac's kids...and then there is the mother in Laws interference with Mac's life..
But eventually Mia can't resist Mac anymore and they are explosive when they are together..It seems like the universe just keeps putting obstacles in their way though and a threat to Macs children puts a strain on their new found romance.
G.K Brady writes a perfect Hockey romance her writing is so detailed and descriptive and it captures your attention straight away.
I am LOVING this series,the audiobooks are perfection and the storytelling is Excellent..I really loved Mac and Mia...I can't wait for the next book.

Mia always put everyone first whether it is her family or her boss. She meets Mac after receiving some difficult news, but she never expected to see him again let alone find out that was the realtor that would be showing him a home. There is no denying the chemistry between them, but she is cautious due to their pasts as well as the challenges in the present.
Both Mac and Mia are going through difficult times with their families which creates some turmoil, but they prove that as long as they are together they can handle anything life throws at them. I enjoyed the performance of the narrators as they brought out the sweet and swoony side of Mac and the feisty and fiery personality of Mia.
