About this listen

Marc Seidman's idyllic world is brutally ripped apart when he is gunned down in his home. Another good one by Harlan Coben lots of twists. Struggled with the voice though at times after reading in robot tone he seemed to forget to change back and spoke like it when he didn’t need to

I enjoyed this book, lots of twists and turns as usual! I would recommend it thoroughly although I found the narrater hard to get used to.

I’ve now listened to several Harlan Coben books and find the stories addictive in the best way. So, when this popped up as a new release I didn’t hesitate. However, whist the story is still good, I didn’t find it quite as layered and intricate as others. It also isn’t helped by some very wooden narration.

So, a small watch-out but overall still worth a listen.
