I’ve read plenty of Cole (and Rose) over the years. The quality is always high but some stories are certainly better than others. This really is one of the best ones they have published. I usually listen for an hour each evening, but I listened to this over two nights into the early hours. What a fantastic story and the world was so easy to visualise. The narrator’s voice work really enriches the story. It’s a standalone story so you don’t need to have listened to previous books.
