Summary

Zepp Hunt wasn’t the king of Dayton high school. He was the top of the food chain. And I was next in line to be dragged into the lion’s den. At least that’s what he thought....

Good girls wanted to tame him. Bad girls wanted to be tainted by him. Everyone bowed down to him. And me? I hated Zeppelin Hunt with every fiber of my being. Which was why I stayed away from the arrogant bad boy with tattoos and a rap sheet. Until I couldn’t.

Until we traded favors, and I owed him three months of my life. I never thought I would end up in his bed, and when I did, I had to remind myself that he hated me as much as I hated him. Until I didn’t.

Zepp Hunt was no prince, and I absolutely refused to be his damsel in distress....

Good book not amazing

This book for me felt rushed almost like the story had a time limit. There could have been more. Narrators were good. Its worth a read but don't expect it to bee amazing.

an electrifying enemies-to-lovers romance

Book 1 of the Dayton High series.
Zepp Hunt, the untamed bad boy who reigns supreme in his domain. He's the embodiment of charisma and danger, attracting good girls who want to tame him and bad girls who crave his tainted allure. He's not the king but he is the top of the food chain in his little slice of purgatory, because in Hell, the kids at Dayton High might actually have a fair chance. He's the unlikely love interest of Good Girl Monroe. Monroe's life is trapped in a harsh reality, one where her mother is a neglectful drug addict entangled with abusive boyfriends, some of whom are even involved in drug dealing. Despite her challenging circumstances, Monroe holds steadfast to her dreams and ambitions. She's determined not to follow in her mother's footsteps and is fiercely focused on escaping Dayton, her troubled hometown. Monroe's path to her goals, however, involves making some questionable decisions.

In a twist of fate, Monroe finds herself in need of a favor from Zepp, the high school's enigmatic "King." Zepp is the epitome of charisma and intrigue, and everyone at Dayton High School wants something from him. He's not easy to befriend, and he couldn't care less about what others think of him. What truly matters to Zepp is his brother, and he's willing to go to great lengths to protect him.

Uncharacteristically, Zepp offers Monroe a deal that would bind her to him for three months, effectively making her his. This unexpected alliance thrusts them into a complex relationship dynamic. Despite their mutual disdain for each other, they discover they have more in common than they initially thought. As they get to know each other better, their animosity evolves into a potent attraction that neither can deny.

Their journey is a captivating exploration of two individuals from vastly different worlds, brought together by circumstance and desire. The story delves deep into their evolving connection, offering a fresh perspective on the classic enemies-to-lovers trope.

In summary, "Monroe and Zepp's Unlikely Connection" is a compelling tale of resilience, unexpected alliances, and fiery attraction. Against the backdrop of Dayton's turbulent environment, the protagonists' complex relationship takes center stage, making for a captivating read that keeps you hooked until the very end. Their story is a testament to the power of transformation and the magnetic pull of love in the most unlikely of circumstances.

Narration by Marcio Catalano and Veronica Pace was fantastic. I really enjoyed this story.
