Summary

The discovery of Gemma Whiting's bludgeoned body within spitting distance of her family home, opens a new case for DI Sally Parker, one that quickly embroils her in Gemma's feud with male family members. Poor narration

Whoever chose Ms Dore to narrate the Conley stories did the author a disservice. Had I not already bought the book as part of the series, I'd not have bothered listening to it. Ms Dore's delivery is often stilted, unnatural and detracts from a good story.
