One of the most tense, gripping thrillers you will ever read. From UK and US bestselling author Taylor Adams.

A KIDNAPPED LITTLE GIRL LOCKED IN A STRANGER'S VAN. NO HELP FOR MILES. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Darby Thorne is a college student stranded by a blizzard at a highway rest stop in the middle of nowhere. She’s on the way home to see her sick mother. She’ll have to spend the night in the rest stop with four complete strangers. Then she stumbles across a little girl locked inside one of their parked cars.

There is no cell phone reception, no telephone, no way out because of the snow, and she doesn’t know which one of the other travelers is the kidnapper.

Who is the little girl? Why has she been taken? And how can Darby save her?

Full of shocking twists and turns, this beautifully written novel will have you on the edge of your seat.

As an audio book, it was thrilling and very hard to stop listening. It was captivating from beginning to end. However, there are extraordinarily gruesome depictions of scenes and possibly uncomfortable discussions. Come prepared!

Heavily recommended

This book didn’t change my life, but it was exactly the kind of thing I was in the mood for listening to.

It’s an extreme weather, remote location thriller with a limited number of characters and enough twists to keep things interesting without it veering into the realm of the unbelievable.

Were some of the character’s actions illogical? Yes.

Did it spoil the story? No.

If this premise sounds like your kind of thing, then I’d recommend this book.

Isolated, extreme weather, remote location thriller

This was such a rollercoaster. I just couldn't put this book down. Packed with relentless suspense and great twists it was like watching an action-filled thriller movie. I'm a sucker for thrillers where a bunch of people are stuck somewhere isolated... and then something bad happens. Just my piece of cake. And that final chapter was just perfect. The author actually fooled me. For the faint at heart, I would like to point out that there are some gruesome scenes near the end, but they aren't gratuitous. I think they fit perfectly into the story and atmosphere. Loved it.

What a fabulous read!

The story starts slow and may leave you pondering on some details and direction , nevertheless if your looking for an unexpected turn of events and a warming glow of admiration and true grit towards characters this may be the ticket and destination for a brief adventure, once it gets out the traps, worth a read. Read well with good expression and emotion. Thank you.
