- A Tale of Debauchery and Dangerous Friends
- Narrated by: Ant Richards, Cira Ugas
- Length: 1 hr and 2 mins
- Categories: Literature & Fiction, Humor & Satire
Summary
Glen is a travel writer. A weekend break in Madrid turns into a mashup of biblical proportions after a night out with his party loving, short-fused, often violent friend Mark - a South East Londoner now living in Madrid - and his feisty, lunatic Basque girlfriend, Ainhoa. Booze? Of course, and lots of it. Memory loss? You bet! A missing mobile phone? Well, obviously, what would you expect! Your average weekend getaway - what could possibly go wrong?

A mysterious tale that keeps giving
One of short tales of Ant Richards read by the author himself and wonderful Cira Ugas who is pure joy to listen to. This non linear story takes us along with Glenn to Madrid, where we follow him though his trip. No Easy Answer is a well spent hour to get out from wherever you are and take a moment in sunny Spain.

Debauched and dangerous!!
Through the dark and debauched mind of Ant Richards, and his own tones, as well as that of Cira Ugas, they take us through a trip through the dangerous side of Madrid, and what can happen when you misbehave!!
Listen to this, live dangerously, you won't be disappointed!!

Very good listen.
Both my wife and I love listening to this book. We await the hard copy to be published. The book is a mixture of all the goodies you wish to find with a catchy listen. It is spicy, sassy easy listening good for the cosy after the Sunday roast with a glass of wine.

Includes frolics with two voices
While voice artist Richards' work may load gravitas when voicing the great classics elsewhere, frolic wry humour underwrites his own No Easy Answer. Another feminine voice in this production is seductive. We also have the No Easy Answer printed book. / apology to author not five star ... unconsciously had compared to topmost favourite in our 1,000 hours mp3 collection of audio described motion pictures

Smooth , cool and endearing
Very much enjoyed Ants story, a well spun out tale of Mediterranean ambience, sexy and amusing, told with light first person touch and the balance of the nice voice of the narrators love interest. A tale told with a cool, almost jazzy sixties vibe, a story reminiscent of something from the Pink Panther era. Light, amusing , comedic and touching, and it will make you smile. Anthony’s delivery flows rather elegantly, weaving through layers of music , and conjuring up elegant and sexy images of Madrid. I hope to hear much more from this author .Definitely recommended.

A very unconventional weekend in Madrid........
After enormously enjoying In Your Dreams, I must say this short story audio book met all my expectations: funny and mysterious, an incredibly fascinating unfolding of events, not to mention the narrators' voices and the sound effects which add suspense and anticipation.

Brilliant
I'm not a big audiobook listener, mostly because I don't find them/narrators very engaging or voices suitable to the content of the books. But I was pleasantly surprised with this one, and it was like listening to those old radio shows with the full sound effects, music, even different voice changes and additional narrators for characters. It's great that the author himself reads the book, so he knew the story intimately (he has a great voice!) and knew exactly how to bring the character to life. I've read the short story before, but I thought I'd give the audio version a try, and I must say, it was an enjoyable, engaging experience. I would definitely listen to more from this narrator and writer.

TOP NOTCH - A full audio experience!! I am floored.
This was more than an audiobook, because it was accompanied by atmospheric music and beats that really set the tone and world of these characters and it’s unreliable narrators.
I loved the story and after hearing Richards’ work in audio format, I can say I prefer it to his written work, as you can really feel the way in which he intended it to be heard.
Co-narrator, Cira Ugas, has an amazing voice and brings a whole new level to the production.
This is some top-level work, looking forward to more stories from Richards and those he brings along for the ride.
