About this listen

New York Times best-selling author Meg Cabot fills each adventure in the Mediator series with suspense and humor. Suze Simon is a liaison between ghosts and the living. But this teenager is no hand-holder, she's tough on the spirits who need her help. When the ghost of a murdered woman wakes Suze up one night with an troublesome request, the 16-year-old just wants to get rid of her.©2005 Meg Cabot (P)2005 Recorded Books, LLC Horror Literature & Fiction Mysteries & Detectives Mystery, Thriller & Suspense Paranormal Romance Romantic Suspense Science Fiction & Fantasy Thrillers & Suspense Witty

In this, the second instalment of Meg Cabot's Mediator series, the author cranks up both the suspense and the chill factor. Barely recovered from her last paranormal encounter, heroine Susanna Simon faces even greater challenges. This time, the enemy she faces is not of the ghostly variety, but real flesh and blood. She must also deal with her growing feelings for Jesse, her ghost room mate. I thoroughly enjoyed this and am looking forward to reading the rest of the series. My only complaint is that I wish the cryptic message left by a ghost could have been better explained. I'd like to know how the heroine actually worked it out. Great for teens and adults alike.
