The second book follows a different guardian and second, but the second is something special. With her own unique abilities she is able to come to Marcus's help when he is hugely out numbered by vampires. In realising Amy has some special skills of her own, and is able to keep up he starts developing feelings.

Out of this world! 🌎 I must confess that I knew the answer to the question...... as I had already read the spin off Series.
However that did NOT distract from the wonderful, heart bursting tale that is Marcus' Story! This combination of Author and Narrator Kirsten Potter is Dynamite!
I am moving straight on to book 3
