Summary

This audio version of the New American Bible Revised Edition of the New Testament and The Book of Psalms was produced and narrated by Ron Dailey under contract with the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. This is the only audio version of the NABRE New Testament and Psalms currently authorized and approved by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops for worldwide distribution.

Ron is a professionally trained voiceover artist, and has been a Catholic adult educator, author, and speaker for more than 40 years. This audio Bible narration is a work of deep love for sacred Scripture, and produced in a quiet, respectful, easy-listening environment without music, white noise, or vocal distractions. Excellent production with careful attention to pronunciation of difficult names and locations. A must-have Bible for all Catholics.

Unpleasant and rigid reading voice.

Reading of the text is distractingly rigid, and without a pleasant reading voice. The translation read is good, just not a good audio experience.

Disappointed in Audible version Lauout chapters

There are no chapter titles in the Audible version only "Chapter 1", Chapter 2", etc as titles so without descriptive titles , it is horrendous to find specific books or chapters or specific psalms or go back and re-listen to . Otherwise its a good book content wise of course.

Beautifully and reverently narrated!

I strongly recommend this powerful rendition of the New American Bible Revised Edition! Ron Dailey’s narration is like having it read directly to you in person, in either a private or congregational setting. It allows for prayerful contemplation of this wonderful translation of the NT and Psalms. I like the deliberate pace but, if desired, this narration also sounds very good at increased speeds.
