love the author & story...but wow, the narrator was painful to listen to....almost gave up several times.

The story was interesting if a bit confusing. The ending was unexpected as far as whodunnit.
For me it was spoilt by the narrator. She sounded aggressive.

I didn’t like this. it’s a very long book and for me a rather boring book. Every character other than the baddie prays before making any decision.while I understand faith it was too much for me and detracted from the story which could have moved more quickly
