Summary

Molly Brooks has faced every foe thrown at her: power-hungry gods, hateful spirits, plotting demons, and everything in between. She has been betrayed, lied to, tortured, possessed, and she has fought her way back from the brink, time and time again.

It all leads up to this.

Two Titans, formerly imprisoned by Molly's family, now walk the mortal realm. The vengeful ancient Nether, finally freed from her prison, longs for revenge against those who decided her fate. And this time, Molly just might not be enough to fight them all, despite having everything to lose.

This is the final installment in the Hidden urban fantasy series.

Great series

This is a fantastic series, although a similar vein to other books like this, it has a unique take on it that worth the read.

Molly doesn't know what she is. She knows she can control others minds though. She uses this gift to search for girls in trouble. Girls that have been kidnapped, abused, trafficked etc. When she finds them, they're released and the perpetrators are met with vigilante violence. Pretty soon they people start calling her the Angel and praying to her when in trouble.

The story is funny, sad, exciting, tragic and everything in between. The author manages to run the gauntlet of emotions without it seems contrived. It was thoroughly enjoyable.

My only criticism would be the narrator. She has a bit of a strange way of pronouncing words. I believe it was pointed out so in later books she uses the correct pronunciation but then flip flops between her pronunciation and the correct way. She also seems to pronounce words that are spelt the same but have different pronunciations. At one points she pronounces bows, as in bows and arrows instead of what it should have been - bows as in X bows and salutes a person. Ally and Alley in the singular and plural seems to cause problems. She pronounced allies as alleys. Minor but very noticeable and a tad irritating at times. Apart from that her voice is perfectly suited apart from one character!
