What a great wholesome and heartwarming way to start the series and the Westwood legacy of love. Malcolm and Evelyn’s meet cute turned both their lives around, in a good way. Although low on the spice level it was enough to keep the book interesting together with the narration choices. I love a good Aaron Shedlock husky narration but Savannah Peachwood’s portrayal of Evelyn really made the book shine with her sweetness and innocence.

I’m always nervous when you know you’re going to start a new series. You get completely comfortable with your favourite characters in the present one you’re on but then the author says New Series and you wonder if you’ll connect with them the same. Never fear this was a great start to a new series. The journey you take with the characters is brilliant. You’re with them as everything unfolds. The genius of this author shouldn’t still surprise me but sometimes I forget lol. This is a novella but it packs a punch. Don’t miss out on this great introduction to what I know will be a fantastic new series. The narration as with all her books was fabulous totally enhances the experience
