Great lecture

I like most others, took the rumors of Napoleon be true. After listening to this, and doing some research, I see that his history is a smear campaign led by people who are scared of men like him. People who rely on status quo to retain power despite incompetence and ineptitude-you know all the stuff that we fought against in the American revolution. A true soldiers general, and man of the people. We could all benefit from studying Napoleon and his exploits in greater detail.

fun short bio of Napoleon

This is an enjoyable overview of Napoleon's life, an excerpt from one of the better Great Courses. Prof. Steinberg is a great lecturer, and it passes too quickly.

Nice angle on Napoleon

This brief intro course on Napoleon takes a fresh look at Napoleon, his talents, his achievements, his life. While reviewing some of the things you may already know about the man, Prof. Steinberg throws in some new and interesting tidbits about Napoleon that make the personal Napoleon come to life, even if only for 30 minutes.
