Excellent book

I've read various web articles about NLP and watched plenty of videos online. this book far exceeded my expectations. there's also an accompanying website with plenty of videos and articles which reiterate the content.

Best NLP resource I've found so far.

I initially approached this for professional reasons. I'd undertaken a diploma for hypnotherapy, and felt an understanding of NLP would give me an insight into the 'why' of treatments, rather than just the how. What I discovered, to my delight was that this resource-rich book was not only clear, direct and accessible, but encouraged and initiated personal insights, discoveries and provided techniques which helped me address issues myself.
After completing the main body of the text, I feel not only more qualified to engage in practical psychology, but personally empowered also.
If you're interested in learning the operating system for the human mind, how to create inner-congruence, banish negative and intrusive thoughts, smooth relationships, help people understand and address deep-seated issues, understand the mechanisms behind many of the mental health problems plaguing society today, and even become effective at negotiations, this book is for you.
Great narrator, too. I bought both the kindle and Audible versions and read along so that I could absorb and highlight information. This increased my information retention manyfold, so I'd recommend that.

Good Book with video tutorial links

This is a great refresher for someone who has already studied NLP, the website tutorials add that extra dimension of learning. You do need to go through it a few times and practice some of the exercises to fully understand the concepts of NLP. Its also great for someone who is new to NLP, as its covers most of the subjects on an NLP course, this will give you a good understanding of the principles of NLP and how to change your thinking, which in turn can change your life. This book allows us to appreciate a greater and deeper perspective of human behaviour

Slow start. Gets better

Starts very slow, but then makes really good points later. Worth hanging in there if you're funding it tough going.

NLP for All

NLP is just another tool for coaching....or at least thats what I used to think 🤔

This book, and many others like it, have taught me that the principles of NLP are more than just a tool, it is an essential facete of life.

The beauty of this book is that it provides theoretical and practical knowledge for you to practice on yourself prior to assisting others should you wish.

The only drawback for this book is its lack of an accompanying PDF, but that shouldn't prevent you from benefitting from the valuable NLP lessons within this book.

Good reference book

I have this as both audio and hard copy as I like to listen and then do the activities throughout. There are lots to practice and it’s worth doing the activities otherwise you miss the point of the book.
A good go to reference book.

Full of valuable skills, NLP Essential Guide helps you be better and happier

This book has tremendous value because it describes important life skills that can improve your life significantly. I am a certified project manager so I am very knowledgeable about achieving results, however I was fascinated in learning about the skill called a well formed outcome and its subset called the ecology of the outcome because in a simple way helps an individual or group describe their desired result. Another important skill is the ability to work through difficult conflicts not only with other people but also within yourself. If you want to learn how to manage a difficult memory, this book will show you a simple technique for disassociating yourself from it. It also comes with an implementation guide to cement your skills. Have fun.

Most disappointing book I've purchased

In short: if you're going to write a trashy self-help book, don't give it an academic-sounding title.

THE BEST !!!

An Amazing book, audio is great as well, read by Tom. It is a blessing that the authors are so passionate about a Metaphysical practice, that beautifully explains how "MIND" (metaphysical) is what is being studied, and the physical is an expression of MIND. KNOW SELF(MIND)✌🏾💪🏾✊🏾💯🇬🇳🇬🇳🇲🇱
