I just finished listening to this and can already think of a handful of kids who would be glued to it. The stories were full of action and adventure, and the way they were told made everything feel exciting without being too overwhelming. It’s the kind of audiobook that makes kids feel like they’re hearing secrets from the past—big battles, clever tricks, mysterious gods, and brave heroes.

It covers different mythologies in a way that keeps things moving. You’re not stuck in one place too long, which is great for younger attention spans. I also liked how it added in little bits of info that help connect the dots—like where certain ideas came from or what made different gods unique. It’s the sort of thing that gets kids asking questions and wanting to learn more.
