Entertaining, sexy and fast-paced!
Dark Warrior Alliance series is back with the second book and it is just as good as the first. The Dark Warrior and Sorcerer Jace finds his mate in Cailyn MacGregor but had to face his demons before he can really be with her. As the second mated pair in the Tehrex realm, a lot of hope is riding on their mating. At the same time, the negative elements seem to be getting more active and stronger. The tipping point seems to be the potential mates and things could go very wrong.
I will admit to struggling a bit with Alex Black's Scottish accent. That aside, I enjoyed the story and look forward to the next books in the series. This audiobook kept me entertained and engaged through the whole story. There are dark elements in the plot but these are well balanced with lighter moments.

Didn't want it to end!
Mystik Warrior, the second book Dark Warrior Alliance, is a brilliantly-composed paranormal romance. From the very start, I was captivated by the main characters, they are well-developed and wholly intriguing. Brenda Trim and Tami Julka make a wonderful team, and I absolutely loved their style and creativity.
Outstanding narration b Alex Black, his performance embodies the characters' personalities and emotions, portraying their desire and want for each other. He literally brought the book to life.
Mystik Warrior is a fantastic paranormal romance listen, one I highly recommend. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Tortured
Jace and Cailyn are our stars for this book and wow is Jace one poor tortured soul. He maybe a warlock, warrior, healer and doctor but that doesn’t mean that life is all okay. The man hides some really big secrets. Cailyn also has her secrets as well. She breaks off her engagement as she just feels that things are wrong, and needs to sort her heart out. There are twist and turns galore through this book and Jace does eventually break the curse that has been placed on him.
Whilst the main focus of this book is Jace and Cailyn there is other stories starting to weave their way through. And wow I can’t wait to get to those books.

Keeps getting better
This was an addictive read, and the series just keeps you coming back for more! The plot was fast paced and action packed with a hard to resist wounded warrior, it kept me hooked to the end. I can't wait for book 3 to see whats next and hear more from the smooth voice of Alex Black.
