Brilliant - highly recommend
In all honesty - I don’t even know why I bought this...it’s not that I was a massive fan (not that I wasn’t - like her music but I’m hardly a groupie) and I’m not normally interested in pop stars lives! But boy am I glad I made this impulse buy! Can I just say - Lily Allen is amazing! She’s real and honest and that’s what the world needs! Her story was fascinating; her narration was superb (it felt like I was listening to her talking to me rather than ‘reading a book’) and overall I throughly enjoyed this book!

A brave deconstruction of her life
Lily Allen is brutally honest throughout the whole book. Her no-nonsense approach will leave you feeling unnerved. She was tremendously brave talking about her experiences of stalking, post natal depression, the death of her baby and her psychotic break. It’s not an easy read and doesn’t feel comfortable, but it’s revealing and honest and self aware. I highly recommend.

brilliant
Always loved Lilys music, think I've been living under a rock as far as press concerned. Didnt know loads about her.
Loved that she narrated.
I'm a woman in her 50s and I related to all of her experiences, as a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter and my own person.
I need to tell everyone how good this book is.

An absolute eye opener!
This book was fantastic. I listened to it on audible, was like Lily was sat with me telling me her whole life. I could relate to so many things. Her openness is refreshing!
To be honest, I have no idea how to tell you how good this book is. It’s a must read!!

An incredible insight into Lilies life, beautifully narrated, so sad in so many places, her life will become easier and the book will help her realise shes an amazingly talented and strong woman

very honest.
great listen. and was surprised by how frank and graphical she was in her account. she is an incredible woman who is a true survivor yet accepts her demons are always lurking in the background

Thought provoking
I’ve always liked Lily Allen and wondered about the media treatment she always received.
Well, read this! It’s quite frankly heartfelt, sad and by the end of it you totally understand why she acts like she does!
I loved this book and at times found myself either laughing out loud or, most often, finding a tear roll down my cheek!
