Summary
Everything you've built your life on is a lie.
Willow's memories of her parents are sun-drenched and full of smiles, love and laughter. But a mysterious invitation to a photographic exhibition exposes a secret that's been buried since a tragic accident years ago. Willow is forced to question everything she knew about Charity, her late mother, and Hope, the aunt she's lived with since she was a child.
How was the enigmatic photographer connected to Willow's parents? Why will Hope not break her silence?
Willow cannot move forward in her life without answers. But who can she really trust? Because no one has been telling the truth for a very long time.
Addictive, gripping and emotionally powerful, this is the perfect read for your summer holiday escape.

Snail Paced Stiry
This was almost bordering on tedium.A story that lacked pace and soul.
The characters all lack depth, there isn't one character you really like, they are all insipid.
I bought this book for all the positive reviews it got!
It goes on and on and on about the past. They all led incredibly small and shallow lives.
There is twist that you are unlikely to get...... But you are well past caring when it comes.

A light and enjoyable story
My sister's secret is a story of love conflict and secrets from the past.
The author describes the characters surroundings in great detail particularly when exploring the beautiful submerged forests, helping you to imagine you are there. This is what I enjoyed the most.
The characters are easily identifiable and likeable. The narrator does very well in bringing them alive.
All in all, a light and enjoyable listen. It kept me guessing til the end where the most unexpected twist is revealed.
I found myself trying to solve the mystery when I wasn't listening and sad when it came to an end. Signs of a great story.

Engaging, Infuriating, Touching
This book will keep you interested enough to see it to the end. However, I think you will find Willow's seemingly, reckless non-chalant behaviour/attitude irritating; while also feeling infuriated with her mother's (Charity's) indecisiveness and her Aunt Hope's uncooperative secretive behaviour. The story drags on longer than necessary and is a little predictable in some respects. However, I found the story built up to a satisfactory conclusion given the secrets, betrayal and deceit especially for Niall who I think was the real victim in all this.
