Summary

Simon Harris is plagued by demons and darkness.

As a young boy, Simon witnessed a crime so heinous that is caused him to dissociate, trapping him within the dark confines of his own mind.

His only salvation is a girl named Lizzy, but can Simon hold on long enough to find her?

My Name Is Simon is a companion novelette which gives listeners a glimpse into the psyche of Rainfall's most despised character.

Simon

To appreciate and understand this story, you must first listen to Rainfall. It was nice to get Simon's perspective in this short story. It allowed me to understand him better and feel his pain. I was hoping for an epilogue that took place before the epilogue in Rainfall but this story was really more about Simon's life as a young child. If you listened to Rainfall, then you really owe it to yourself to listen to My Name is Simon. Thomas Arnason did a great job bringing this story to life. I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Great short story, sequel to ‘Rainfall’

I was given a copy of the audio version of this book in return for an honest review and here it is.This book is the sequel to the fantastic ‘Rainfall’. It should not be read before that book. It is a short story which offers the reader insight in to why one of the characters‘Simón’ is the way he is. It did not make me like Simon anymore but it did let me see why he was the person he was. It is a sad story but one that I enjoyed listening to. The narrator told the story well. I will definitely look out for more by this author.
