Owning the local bakery, The Sweet Spot, has taken all her time and energy and she's neglected the social aspects of her life. Mitch Atwater, an award winning director, returns to town. He has an agenda of his own and is wreaking havoc with her goals and her heart.

A relatable, sweet romance!

As women we all want to say we grow up and grow out of our school day insecurities. Sometimes, however, they come along with us. Franny's story is a gentle reminder that sometimes we carry a younger version of ourselves inside us who likes to pop up when we least expect or want her to.

Famous actor, Mitch Atwater and small town baker, Franny were friends when they were kids. Along the way two things happened: Franny developed a crush on Mitch, and Mitch went away without keeping in touch. Years later Mitch moves to Franny's town and their paths keep crossing, especially as Mitch owns the building that houses Franny's bakery.

Thrown in a few enemies and new friends, family drama, vision boards and much more and the resulting story is both entertaining and sweet. You cannot help but like Franny. She is just so relatable!

I enjoyed this audiobook. It was amusing and had me smiling and cringing in equal measures! (The cringing was for my inner Franny!)
