Classic Keyes: owl-wise, oven-warm and very funny. Fabulous
Keyes is a powerhouse. My Favourite Mistake is not just a fizzy romantic comedy, but also a piece of social commentary. Her protagonist’s voice is crystal cut with observations about gentrification, sexism and an economic system that tells women they are nothing without expensive serums and Peloton machines
What heaven . . . wish it could go on forever (Nigella Lawson)
Warmhearted and deftly plotted page-turner. A celebration of kindness: that of family and friends
Sharp and funny
Keyes’s prose whisks you through her tales — she has an instantly endearing turn of phrase and an acute sense of comic timing
You are all in for a treat. My Favourite Mistake is by turns hilarious and heart-breaking, with a very satisfying mystery at the heart of it too (Elly Griffiths)
The biggest treat. I've laughed, I've blushed and I've cried. How does Marian do it? Just a beautiful, hopeful story (Jennie Godfrey)
Funny and moving and very sexy (Liz Nugent)
Unbelievable…so much talent (Chris Evans)

it was a great treat to go back to Anna Walsh, her sisters and Narky Joey. marian Keyes as ever has captured a stage in people's life - and shone a light on the different emotions and situations people go through.

it was even more of a joy to have Marian read the story and feel her warmth and humour come through.

I have had 2 days of pleasure reading this and didn't want it to end.

brilliant

Marian is a joy to listen to, so glad she narrated this. She knows what it is to be a woman and writes Irish people pitch perfectly!

I really enjoyed this audible. I loved listening to Anna's journey in menopause, friendships and loves. Wonderfully read by Marian Keyes with the Irish warmth and humour that she is so good at.

A wonderful story about friendship and love

Loved, loved, loved this book & the viewpoint of a mid-lifer looking back too, great craic, Marian has funny bones, listened in 3 days & loved the update on the Walshes.

Fabulous as always!

I love Marian Keyes, and her narration saves this book, but gosh the central character is annoying, faffing around her love interest while you scream at the audiobook. The wider Walsh family are brilliant as always.

A lead character who is difficult to like!
