About this listen

Ally Hastings is my obsession, the one girl I never should have fallen in love with.

She ran away from me for a year, filled with shame, insisting our feelings for each other are wrong and we can’t give into temptation. No more sneaking around. No more stolen kisses.

Now Ally is back in town, ignoring our past, trying to date other guys and move on from me. I thought I could hate her for the way she ripped my heart out but I’m more obsessed with her than ever. I don’t care how wrong we are for each other, Ally Hastings is mine, I’ll make her see it, and I won’t let anyone take her from me.

My Favorite Sin is a “his dad married her mom” new adult romance. It is book 2 in the Playing Favorites series and can be listened to as a standalone novel. For a more immersive experience it is recommended to first listen to the novella My Favorite Girl.

I love this book and these characters so much and it was so much fun getting to re-read it and listen to the audiobook for the first time. I loved how the audiobook really brought the characters alive and Heather & Anthony did an amazing job capturing the emotions in every word. I definitely recommend listening to this audiobook both if you've already read the ebook/physical book and want to feel like you're experiencing it for the first time or if this is your first time reading/listening to My Favorite Sin. This is a must for any audiobook lover that also loves forbidden romances

4,5 stars!! I love these characters and the narrators were so good

I enjoyed the main story to Dan and Ally, especially as the Novella set everything up so nicely. This was definitely very sinful, but oh, so good 🤭.

Same as the Novella, this was written delicately given its taboo nature and explores the push and pull of their emotional connection to each other. Ally wishes to try and remain friends/ step sister, and Dan doesn't want to accept that. This story carried confused emotions between what's right and wrong and the worry of what others would think. Ally had a good character development although she did dance between hot & cold a lot whilst navigating her feelings. The spice lessons were 🔥.

The audio was very good, and the narrators definitely got their emotions across with these characters.

The narrators performances 👌🏻

Audiobook review - Okay but WOW… this audiobook had me completely hooked. Since listening to My Favourite Girl, I have been desperate for this bad boy and it did not disappoint!
My Favourite Sin is messy, emotional, a little taboo, and impossible to stop listening to. The story follows Ally and Dan — two people who absolutely should not be falling for each other, but the pull between them is so strong it hurts. Ally comes back after a year away, hoping time has fixed things… meanwhile Dan is very much still obsessed, and the tension between them is off the charts. Forbidden feelings, unresolved history, and so many moments where you’re just holding your breath like “oh no… but yes.”
And can we talk about the audiobook narration for a second?! Because it is SO good. Heather brings Ally to life with so much emotion — you really feel her confusion, longing, and vulnerability. Anthony as Dan?? Absolutely nailed it. His voice adds so much intensity and depth, and together their performances made the story feel incredibly real and immersive. This is one of those audiobooks where you forget you’re listening and just feel everything.
Overall, this was such an addictive listen — angsty, spicy, heartfelt, and totally binge-worthy. If you love forbidden romance and audiobooks that pull you all the way in, this one is a must listen!

‘You’ll always be my person’

As soon as I finished my Favorite Girl I was so desperate for the next part I love Dan & Ally.

Ally returns from Paris thinking that this cure her obsession with her step brother and the feelings she has for him but she can’t seem to resist him.

Dan has waited a year for Ally he is down so bad for her and it’s honestly one of my Favorite things!

The yearning in this book is SO good!! Dan loves Ally so hard and is always there for her when she needs him and does everything for Ally. Once Ally gives in to her feelings this to are fire together.

The narration for this book was so outstanding I really thought Heather and Anthony were perfect for Ally & Dan. They sounded so beautiful together.

I really loved how we got to see Tyler Felix & Harpers story and I cannot wait for there story!!!

Produced by Blue Nose Audio the casting & production was excellent as always.

Addicting!!

I knew what was coming, having read this one over a year ago in print form - and as I said re:MFG - the casting and the audio performance of Ally and Dan bring this to a whole new level, making the experience that much richer, and feel that more forbidden and tab00.

There also is so much heart in this book. Dan just wants what is best for his Ally, even if he has to be sneaky in some ways to get there. But Ally gives as good as she gets, and I loved seeing her grow into this amazing, confident woman through the course of the story. And Dan... man, his character growth blew me out of the water. I almost want to beg for more from Summers on this couple just so we can continue to see his development, both with Ally and as an individual.

The emotions Firth and Palmini deliver, from the hurt and the angst to the heat, the forbidden feelings, and the absolutely freaking palpable tension - these two performers once more embodied their characters and brought them to life. You can feel the emotions, the pining, the chemistry between Dan and Ally from the moment they reunite, and it pulls through perfectly with the performance.

There's something about stepbrothers
