This was a sweet novella book 1.5 in the Beaumont series. Its about Nick and after when his relationship ended with Josie. He goes to Africa and meets Aubrey and she helps heal him. A year later they both come back to Beaumont and Nick is asking for forgiveness and to hope build a relationship with Noah still since he was a father figure to him and Nick felt he let Noah down by leaving. We also get some flashback scenes from Nicks point of view from Forever my Girl as well.

Narrator Jeffrey Kafer was great.
