Ugh. This book. THIS BOOK! Or should I say this DUET because you need to read MY DARK FAIRY TALE first. I absolutely loved it! I didn’t see the plot twist coming until it was revealed. Although I was twitchy and suspicious of everyone. These are the perils of reading so much suspense. No one is innocent!

If you like possessive alphas, mafia mayhem, Carolina Reaper sp!ce, double-crossing, wait… whaaaaaaaat moments, and emotions overflowing, this is the duet for you.

Giana has written complex characters who grow and develop. The relationships are flawed but perfect. The love is unending, soul deep, and gut wrenching.

CJ is fantastic as Guinevere. She really starts to stand up for herself in this book, and CJ gives us all those take-charge moments. Dane, I’ve got to say, is brilliant as an Italian. He was perfect as Raffa. Gruff and commanding. Raspy and desperate. This was such a great audiobook. It 100% elevated this story to the next level.

Wow, what a story and nothing less than what you would expect from the pages of the wonderful #GianaDarling

It's one of those books that when you start, you can't stop reading, and when you get to the end, you are sorry that you have.

There are many twists and turns as well as secrets and treachery, but at the end of the day love wins out and Raffa gets his huntress, but he really has to fight for it, and in return so does she.

I really liked the epilogue and how one of the unexpected members of the family sort out, not giving the game away, the little problem of treachery. It would be good to hear how that turns out in another book.

The #duetnarration was as excellent as ever.
