fantastic

I'm totally in love with these cosy mystery audiobooks penned by Dianne Hartland and brilliantly narrated by Kasey Logan. I've even tried the recipes at the end and they are great xxxxxxxxx

Murder

I enjoyed listening to Kasey Logan.

A great listen. A dead man , with no will , a test tube baby and furious adult children.

So many suspects, a great plot.

Was it a murder?

I really enjoyed this book. In fact I think I might have to say it is up there at the top of my favourite list for this author. It was a well worked mystery that just worked for me. There was plenty of suspects and twists to keep it flowing smoothly, as Liz eliminates one suspect at a time. The story takes a twist just when you think you know what is going on and goes off in another direction. The characters are likeable, especially the dog Winston, I loved the way he saved the day with his training.
Liz befriends a client at her spar when her husbands law partner asks her to give her special treatment for a client. She never thought Michelle would call her out of the blue, asking for her help. Michelle's rich older husband has died and his two children are demanding an autopsy after learning that part of there inheritance could go to her unborn children. With the possibility of going to jail for a crime she claims she didn't commit Michelle turns to Liz and her husband for help, before she loses everything. The children are not the only suspects that Liz must look at, if she hopes to find out the answers to the death. With a lot of money at steak will Liz's new friend find the family that she always wanted.
I liked the narrator and found her pleasant enough to listen to for a few hours.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
