I struggled getting through the book. Story was good but I did wonder if it was badly written or badly narrated. I came to the opinion it was bad narration. Shame, because it let the story down.

the sound kept changing sometimes mid sentence and sorry but the reader really wasn't good.

A lovely listen, good plot nothing taxing for the brain. Will get next one.

Enjoyable cosy mystery

This book was poorly written, the dialogue did not ring true to 1927, there were too many one dimensional characters, and no great plot.
Also not well narrated, the reader’s voice was flat and did not differentiate characters well. I gave up on it!
