Summary

Pantomime director Libby Sarjeant has her hands full combining direction and detection when she’s asked to look into threatening letters sent to Harry’s gay friend Cy. At first she believes it to be a simple case of prejudice, but soon Libby uncovers links to particularly nasty crimes in the past, revelations that have catastrophic effects.

Very good but confusing

Its another really good story and narration but it can get so confusing with all the characters.

Any additional comments?

libby gets involved in another murder through her friend harry which takes her back to the days when hop pickers where employed through the war.
libby does all the research and questioning people whilst fran comes in near the end of the story.
I like all the characters so far in the series, an easy listen. I am really enjoying the series and I am looking forward to the next.
patience Tomlinson's performance is very good as she remembers the voices of all the core characters as well as the new ones introduced over the course of the series so far.

On stage

When you are on stage you are supposed to project your voice, but not when you are reading some one an audiobook.
Please Mz. Tomlinson stop screeching female characters voices with your extremely shrill voice. Listen to a reading by Julia Barrie "Murder at the Laurels". One feels very relaxed when she reads an audiobook. You completely spoiled several of Lesley Cookman's well written books for me.
