Summary
Mules is a story that revolves around a young teenager in the rural South. During the years of 1979 to 1982, Cole lives with his single mom fighting for his manhood. Gangs, drugs, violence, drug use, and the law all are to be overcome. In the process he breaks rules, hearts, and faces the prospect of juvenile jail.
Will he be able to survive?
Meet Ronnie, a crazy Vietnam veteran, confused Linda, Ronald the vacillater, Billy the enforcer, and Timmy the smart one. Better yet, the perverts, the church, and sports - all to be respected somewhere in farm town America.
