Summary

The only thing about me that’s a size zero is the filter on my mouth. I’ve got a big personality, a big rack, and a big number on the scale. And I’m perfectly fine with that.

But when some random guy suggests I might not be eating alone if I’d ordered a salad instead of a hamburger I’m shocked silent, which is a feat, trust me.

That brings us to one sexy fireman named Frankie Hartigan. He’s hot. He’s funny.... And he’s just apologized for being late for our “date” then glared at the fat-shaming jerk. Next thing I know, he’s sitting down and ordering himself dinner.

I have no problem telling him I don’t need a pity date...unless of course it’s to my high school reunion next week. Oops where did that last bit come from? And what do I do now that he’s said yes?!

Because this is no make-over story, and I think Frankie is using me for something. I just have to figure out what....

Mehhh

It's an alright story. I'm just sick of
these plus size women that hate themselves and say triggering things chapter after chapter. Like you can be fat and many more things. This book was about her body and nothing else. If you wanna read a book with a plus size character that doesn't hate herself please read The Princess Trap by Talia Hibbert or any of her other books.

Another 5* Romcom

Avery has done it again with this hilarious romcom. Well written storyline with great characters. The excellent narration brought Lucy and Frankie to life. Can't wait to listen to the following story.

A great Plussize read!

The Male Lead is awesome whilst the female lead was annoying sometimes . Overall a great story and it was a good purchase.

Became boring

Started off pretty hooked by the story, but it seemed to continue super lusty and cringey. There wasn’t very much comedy, and the narrators doing the opposite gender’s voices was super cringey. The intimate scenes were far too explicit, and seemed to take a centre stage over actual storyline, so by the time they were (finally) over I was bored. The character development was good, and had some heartfelt scenes. I almost wish it was shorter and focused more on the story, characters and romance than the intimate scenes.

THE SAME STORY AS PREVIOUS BOOK IN SERIES

I can't believe it is the same storyline as 'Butterface' except the horrible nickname this bullied woman had was 'Muffin Top' there is no need to listen to the final book 'Tomboy' as I can imagine it will be a simular storyline.

Good looking 'Hartigan' family members like the cop & the firefighter hook up with perceived ugly or overweight women who have been bullied in the past. Totally explicit sexual details, which isn't needed and can be left to the imagination!

Women fall in love with the Hartigan men, then said man screws up and hurts the women like all other men have. Hartigan men realise that they have actually fell in love with the woman and do a big gesture to apologise to lead woman and declare their love and live happily ever after.

The sex scenes are way to graphic and I am not prudish.

Boring and repetitive

Omg! this story is so miserable I almost lost the will to live. Instead of a sensitive portrayal of an overweight woman we get a whining rendition of self pity. I ha d to give up listening for my own sanity.

Wow racy

Honestly it should be mentioned that it’s quite racy at some moments… (sweating here)
Beautiful love story that keeps a woman yearning for this in her own life,

Sweet and romantic

What a liked:

- The hero was sweet and misunderstood (and very sexy).

- Both protagonists were fighting their own demons and getting in their own way. I liked their journey to overcoming these through the development of their relationship.

- Sweet and romantic. A pleasant story and easy to enjoy.

What I didn't like:

- Towards the end I was getting a bit tired of all the sex scenes.

- The heroine was frustrating at times (but I had to remind myself that those were inner demons sabotaging her and it was all part of the story).

Love the audio and how it jumps between the two narrators. This story was truly everything I didn't know I wanted or needed ;)
