For best-selling horror novelist Wilson Paventeau, the scariest novel of his career is the one he didn't write. It bears his name on the dust jacket and contains his bio near the end, but this enigmatic tome is not part of his oeuvre. And the most frightening thing about it may not be the tale between the covers, but the reason for its mysterious appearance in Paventeau's life.

I loved the transformation this book took from beginning to end. I was taken on a journey and this was an excellent story for my first ever audio book!

A short yet elaborate story that is written beautifully.

Enjoyed it and would listen again. Wish I’d actually read this and not listened to it. After listening to a few Ronald Malfi books the writing reminds me of king whose books I very much enjoy

I actually enjoyed this, but in the same way as I enjoyed reading Creepypastas or Thought Catalog back in the day. I felt just a little unsatisfied with the ending. However, the whole premise of the story is really good, I just wished it was slightly more substantial.
