About this listen

Many young people are unsure of what career path to pursue and find choosing that path a daunting exercise. Unfortunately, some eventually stumble into careers without any real prior knowledge of whether it is suitable for their strengths and personal qualities. They therefore try hard to fit a square peg into a round hole and thereby become unhappy and disillusioned. The aim of this book, firstly, is to inform parents, guardians, educators, and youth workers of how to make choosing a career path an interesting, exciting, and engaging exercise for young people. Secondly, it aims to create awareness that choosing a career path between the ages of 12 and 14 will motivate a young person to become engaged, focused, and hardworking both inside and outside of the classroom.
