Summary
The no-holds-barred final entry in the Monster Hunter Memoirs series from New York Times best-selling authors Larry Correia and John Ringo.
"This is New Orleans." That mantra had rung in Chad Gadenier's ears since his first day working in the Big Easy. Everything was different in New Orleans. The food. The climate. The monsters. Even the shadowy and reprehensible MCB was different. But that's just the beginning.
The real reason New Orleans is so different is a larval Great Old One growing day by day in power and just about ready to pop. If Chad can't convince "the powers that be" to get involved, not only New Orleans, but the entire world, is going to fall under the power of the nastiest of nasties.

never fails to hit the spot
Great, vicious, funny, well written and well read. Chad is brought to life and taken to the end and you feel that your there for every step.

Epically brilliant!
This is hard-core and leaves you with some serious feelings, but it is seriously awesome, well written and well read. Characterisation is fantastic, build up and sequencing is fantastic, interaction with the main monster hunting series is fantastic, an all-round fantastic finish to a fantastic trilogy! It is very rare that I can’t think of a butt, but I can’t find one for this book.. Genuinely great. These three books are proper heroes fighting bad stuff, which is exactly what I liked about monster hunter International in the first place. Please can the main series get back to this level of book.

great stories
great mini series of books to the MHI collection, there's good back info on the characters in the main series, new monsters lots of excessive force. well written and delivered with Oliver Wyman's exceptional narration. MHI fans need these 3 books in your list.
Oh yeah and if you want to know what happened at the Christmas party Earl tells the story (57 Gulf View 😉) 👍

bloody awful.
I love the mhi books but these 'memoirs'books are dire, still good to have the Americas coming to our poor third world country (England) to show us how everything should be done. Thank you.
