So after listening, I've come up with a few points that I believe are very important to those who find these genre of titles appealing "not discarding myself". First, it's not your average romance title, with needless, debasment of both male and female archetypes, there's conflict, denial and reasoning between each dynamic character which I find very refreshing. Second, it is a steady pace of script, going from one day to the next, I understand some amongst you prefer something more fast pace but if you can stick with the narrative, you'll enjoy the story as much as I have, third, believable character development, the protagonist is strong to a fault but even they aren't invincible, entering conflicts with an analytical eye, you can see and appreciate how the writer has come to some of the conclusions when it comes to skirmishes. If I had one critique it's that the female characters do not have a actress to lead their parts. it's not breaking of course not by a long shot, but something to be desired and appreciated none the less, all in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my time listening to the story and would recommend this type of work to anyone who shares an interest in detailed, romantic, action-packed to slice-of-life instances within this fantasy world. Delightful.

It was a good and interesting story but it was definitely not written by or for women, which is found quite disappointing.
The narration was good enough.
I'll not be reading/listening tot he rest of the series.
