The book itself was narrated well. However the story was kind of hard to adapt to. it wernt terrible and I did get to the end. so that's a good thing. I'll the second a listen if it comes onto Audible.

i certainly enjoyed the book and performance. different from other lit RPG being a dungeon protagonist. further still with an anti-hero angle, thumbs up 5/5

A nice change from the normal quality of dungeon core books. I think this book did a number of things well...

Firstly a good concept not expanded on as much as would be preferred but does leave it open to the second book quite well e.g some input from lilith or the other members of the pantheon in some way after the intro would improve the book.

The champions are satisfying even though the upgrades were kinda understated and add description of what they could do would be better.

Puck needs more "screen time" he's cool.
I feel like the convo between him and fellow champions would be really intresting.

in short enjoyable but could be quite easily better with a few simply changes.

Got this book for free and decided to give it a try.
It's decent enough and I like the concept (being a dungeon core vs the adventurer) but I wouldn't give it the 4.3 stars it is listed at.
The MC gets teleported to a fantasy world, gets turned into a dungeon core and instantly just accepts it. He doesn't resist, isn't weirded out by it. There is no path to acceptence at all wich feels a bit weird to me.
The voice actor does a good job, that and the oke story made it enjoyable enough.
