Summary

Contains over five hours of additional content exclusive to the audiobook.

Money is a game you can win. First, understand the rules. True financial independence provides the opportunity to use money the way you'd like, look after your family and plan for your future. This book explains how money works, how to understand it better and how to protect it once your bank balance starts growing.

Providing a fascinating overview of the complex ways in which money impacts the world along with simple, implementable systems for earning more, investing wisely and saving better, this remarkable audiobook, by self-made millionaire and best-selling author Rob Moore, will show you how to make money and make your money work for you. If you're not where you want to be in your life, then it's time to close the gap between the money you earn and the lifestyle you want - and get on track to creating the success you deserve.

Do you want to get to the stage - soon - where you are truly financially independent, able to use your money in the way you'd like and completely confident in your ability to take care of yourself and your family? That is a universal desire, but many of us regard wealth and financial independence as a goal which we'll likely never achieve - there are just too many bills that need paying, and there is a widespread belief that the money game is rigged. Even people who win the lottery or inherit money often seem to wind up losing it.

The evidence suggests you can't win a game that you don't understand - even if you start out winning - because you never understood the game in the first place. So how can you win with money? How can you create independent wealth and hold on to it? This inspiring audiobook by self-made multimillionaire Rob Moore explains the rules of the game, shares simple tricks for managing money better, details how to create a plan for an ambitious future and shows you the very best way to become a millionaire - to think and behave like one!

Awful awful awful.

What disappointed you about Money?

**I can not remember a time when I picked up a book worse than this**

How this book is rated so highly I do not know, although I suspect foul play. I have listened to the first five hours of this book and it was simply terrible. Some basic economic concepts are clumsily explained with poor terminology. Moreover, the author spends over an hour explaining why money is a good thing. Given that I have bought a book about how to make money the fact that I do not actively think money is bad should be a given. He also goes on about the importance of philanthropy before telling you how to make money. This section of the book is entirely self serving. It's just wave after wave of absolute rubbish. I have wasted five hours of my life and £6 on this book. Do yourself a favour and don't make the same mistake.

The UK version of Rich Dad Poor Dad

Tasteless jokes and bragging anecdotes about the author’s millionaire lifestyle woven into a shallow story that attempts to address everything from the history of money through to the Internet of things. If you’re new to visualisation and think that money is the root of all evil then this book may be eye-opening for you. For anyone who’s picked up at least one money self-help book, this will be a waste of time.

Back to basics

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Back to basics advice for managing your own money. This book reinforces why we all have had money hang ups & issues & how to fix them. Rob has never shied away from the fact that all profits from the book are to enable his foundation to grow & teach the value & pitfalls of money in the modern world. It provides a history of money & a stark reminder to take responsibility for your own actions & that its possible for all with a mindset change to increase your wealth & help others at every opportunity. Money is NOT the root of all evil, its a powerful tool to do good in society & improve wellbeing.

What did you like best about this story?

Mindset values & back to basics money managing.

What does Rob Moore bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

His verbal enthusiasm speaks volumes literally!! I have two physical books of Robs but much prefer listening to his style of delivery.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

'Give me the Money'
but let me share it.

Any additional comments?

Great addition to my collection , I'm not a Rob Moore wannabe or groupie but credit where credits due he has put a huge amount of effort into this book & the research clearly shows through.

5/5!

Good book, a little bit self help in money subject but well written and enjoyable to listen. A little bit technical at many parts as to the 'point by point' structures when listened, I'm getting a hard copy now to read again and review some parts in detail. I would definitely recommend.

Unstructured common sense pub chat

What would have made Money better?

More structure and shorter

Has Money put you off other books in this genre?

no

What about Rob Moore’s performance did you like?

He is nice to listen to

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Money?

There are 52 chapters! surely the editor could have reduced this and grouped based on common themes.

Any additional comments?

No real advice, lots of anecdotes or rather bar-talk. Many errors in quotes and definitions, which is undermining credibility.
Author has heard about topics and likes to namedrop with no real advice or merit. Blockchain! artificial intelligence! the future! your chance to make money! duh...
But i would have a beer with the author b/c he will give you a good time for a few minutes.

A lightbulb moment kind of book

Incredible content presented by a funny, authentic high achiever. I've been in business for 15 years and thought I knew about money, it turns out I had so much more to learn. This book would have been incredible as a stand alone read but it's triggered so much more and set me off on a path of new learning and exploring in business and personal development. Rob delivers his content in his own unique style, his enthusiasm for his subject is almost tangible and by the end of the book you end up searching and downloading his back catalogue. This book contains so many simple yet mind blowing one liners that literally stop you in your tracks and change ingrained limiting beliefs and ideas. This is one of those books you will remember where you were when you read it!

I Wish I had Heard This Years Ago

Have read other titles by Rob Moore before, I was looking forward to getting my hands, or should I say ears, on this.

I wasn't too sure if I would like the author reading it himself as he can be quite loud on his podcasts, however, this didn't turn out to be the case. I think the have set a maximum level on him;-) and he is quite easy to listen to. Another benefit is you really get the passion coming through as it is obviously a subject he is very passionate about. This might not have been so had it been read by anyone else.

The information is very thought provoking and some of it you seem to think is common sense, then find yourself thinking "why hadn't I thought of that".

Rob's vision of the future and how the crypto currencies will affect us was a real eye opener. It was certainly food for thought with the speed things are changing. It is definitely something we should keep abreast of so we don't get left behind.

I will be listening to this at least two or three times as there is an awful lot if information to take in.

I would recommend this book to people of all ages. Even if you are not looking to go into business, there is so much thought provoking information that is relevant to the normal man in the street.

I would avoid this

Boring, incredibly repetitive, self regarding in the extreme and quite ironically a complete waste of ... money.

Not sure how the five star reviews were arrived at. Im completely sure that they would be fair and legitimate purchasers of the book with no link to the author.
