All three books included!

John LeBrock is the greatest MMA fighter on Earth. He takes on all opponents and destroys them with ease. He is rich, good-looking, and oozes charisma. He wants for nothing, and life is good. John will soon find out that a seemingly perfect life can change in the blink of an eye.

The MMA world champion will be given the opportunity to travel through a cosmic doorway that leads to the other side of the universe to a strange but beautiful world called Azura. I think the other reviews were paid for.

These books are awful. The girl narrator specifically, sounds like a robot. The dialog between characters is so stilted and formal that it's painful to listen to. She sounds like Siri or Alexa. It's really, really bad. No one in the history of forever actually speaks like this in real life.

terrible narration ok experience

OK so the book is OK the female narration felt like it was made separate and tacked on making sex scenes awkward and without emotion. but u could do listen since the main character seemed to get more and more arragent so I was thinking the Mc will fall to evil as power goes to his head. but after the 3rd book I realized that he is more of a self insert and nothing will change the Mc. I wish the females had more depth to them. like all the girls have the support the Mc personality. what do they like to do. what do they hate. what are their weaknesses/strengths. all they are only sex objects that become obedient servents after the Mc sexs them. now about the sex I am neutral about sex scenes in books I tend to tune them out like stats blocks but the narration was so monitored for the female and the female was so much louder then the males that it made me cringe. the male narration was absolutely excellent. But I feel like the author needs to relook at how he creates character and not just create sex objects for the Mc to conquer. maybe work on a book with a two person relationships and explore a deeper connection then pure sexual and allow the reader to learn more about how to grow attached to a person and grow with them. after mastering that then adding more women.

Worst dialogue I've ever listened to.

It's very clear this author can't write dialogue between men and women. I have to agree with another review that the female narration sounds like Alexa did it. I couldn't tell the difference when the female character was either sad, angry, excited, scared or sultry. I did find it funny that many of the male narrations of side characters had them sounding like Sean Connery.

wow

this is almost the worst book series I've ever listened through. the writing is terrible: grammar issues, misused words, insufferable repetition. the performance is bad: mispronunciation, weird inflections, and the 2 narrators couldn't have paired any worse. there are constant continuity issues and mechanics never seem to follow their own rules. the mc is not only an insufferable tool, but the author seems to be living all of his teenage fantasies through him. he's an amalgam of bad B movie action stars and cringy one liners. what's really disappointing is that the premise for the story isn't bad, painfully unoriginal, but it could have been something relatively enjoyable. the bar is pretty low for this kind of gamelit harem story, and the author still managed to fall short. in fairness I could finish it, and it comes in a box set, but it still isn't worth it. the only thing I can suggest to audible is to have a higher emphasis on editing, I understand that the author did a bad job but what adds insult to injury here is the lack of effort in the production editing. the narrators are at odds in volume, tone, and inflection. they can't even decide how someone's name is pronounced. will be trying for a refund on this credit.

It's dragon ball with worst characters

this story is a glorified Dragon Ball Z story in literature with a hint of what it really means to be litRPG. overall author Miss multiple time for you can make the story actually noticeably different and has only female characters with lines that belongs in a p$?no. The actual performance was OK but it was hard to tell the difference when different characters talked, including the narrator.

Epic on all levels!

23 hours of amazing combat, cultivation, and hot chicks! How can you go wrong with that? I was saddened to see the series end but Beck did a great job of tying everything up and ending it well. There aren't many completed series out there so give this one a try. You won't regret it. The narration is top tier as well and Erin is very sexy!

refreshing

great series, the mc is arrogant and confident for good reason, he can back it up. The story line doesn't follow the typical flow you would expect. The plot twists keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat. The ending is awesome with nice closure. Greatly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Highly recommend it and will be one of my go to series for relisten when I have down time.

this was a good series, the characters thought...

this was a really good series, and I'm glad I got it.

the overall story is good, the fight scenes were pretty good, the leveling and quests were good (wish there were more quests but that's just me.) and the progression happened at a solid pace.

my biggest nitpick were the secondary characters didn't seem to have any permanence, they could be great friends one chapter and mortal enemies the next while people you punched in the face a chapter earlier were now good friends and joking.

overall though I won't pull any stars for that, it's a nitpick.
