Eleştirmen yorumları

If you are familiar with Sanderson's writing - be it The Way of Kings or his Mistborn series - then you are sure to know what to expect: brisk, engaging and professional storytelling
Sanderson has a precise way of writing, whether its his epic fantasy or in-your-face superhero fiction. Mitosis was everything I expected from such a powerhouse author. A dynamic setting, compelling and flawed characters, enough plot twists to keep me guessing, and a fun, fast-paced reading experience
if you enjoyed "Steelheart" I would definitely suggest you track down a copy. If possible, I would also recommend that you get a Gollancz collector's hardcover. Apart from being gloriously designed little package it also features an additional 40 pages from "Firefight" which is arriving in about month's time.
This was a brilliant action-packed short story! It had everything packed into it that made Steelheart such a great book.

interesting story, but it felt like it wasn't entirely necessary. the events here don't add much to the trilogy. v well written and acted though.

Shouldn't be necessary reading for the trilogy

A good addition to the existing story sandwiched between the first two books. If you like the first one, worth a listen, but you do need the backstory to understand.

Good short story in this universe

I wasn't sure about using one of my credits on such a short book but I'm glad I did. I really enjoyed listening to it. Well written and followed on nicely from the first book Stealheart.

Great!

Loved the narration and the story was entertaining, I cracked up in a couple of parts when reminded of just how bad David's metaphors are! I don't think it's common for novellas to be mind blowing however just based on their length and lack of complexity which is why it's a 3 star for me. Solid and fun.

In anticipation of Reckoner's Book 2, I re-listened to Steelheart, and tacked on Mitosis for good measure.

Perfectly in keeping with Steelheart - characters and theme. Macleod Andrews is also absolutely consistent, so the effect is that this could be simply another chapter to Steelheart.

"Short, but perfectly baked" is my verdict. I wouldn't have wanted to spend a whole credit on something this short, but the sale price + an audible voucher I had, made it worth it.

Ready for the next book now.....

Good little interlude
