Summary
Robin Cove has had enough of her boss, is over her boyfriend, and makes a split-second decision to leave it all behind. Too bad she didn’t check the weather forecast before she left. Stranded on the side of the road when her old car breaks down, Robin fears her impulsive action will be the death of her, as her body temperature steadily lowers to dangerous levels.
Matt Landry is slowly making his way home in the storm, when he finds an unconscious woman on the side of the road and rushes her home to his father Chris to save her.
When Robin wakes up, she finds herself in the kind of home that she has always dreamed of having, except for the handsome man with the surly attitude. As much as Robin wants to stay, she knows she’ll never win him over and needs to find the right future for herself.
Will Robin’s future bring her back to Chris and his kids? Or, will Chris lose the chance to have the love of a woman who will never leave him and the family he has always wanted?

Romantic! And Chris.... ooo la la!
I wasn't sure what to expect from this book. This is my third Stacy Eaton series and so far each series has been so different! I have been enjoying her books and this is no exception.
Robin and Chris's story is sweet but also sizzling with chemistry. While Robin could be the girl next door facing life's challenges, Chris is just delicious. He is a single father who has managed to be a fantastic parent while being successful in his career! He hasn't been portrayed as being perfect. In fact he faces the usual concerns and confusion of starting a new relationship while prioritizing his children and their wellbeing. Completely relatable!
I enjoyed this audiobook and look forward to the rest of the series.

Mistletoe & cocoa kisses
Sometimes you just have to accept fate for what it is. These 2 fight it, but for very reasonable cause, the kids. Fantastic fun and sweet romance! The narration helped bring the story to life and was so easy to listen to!

Yes to Mistletoe & Cocoa Kisses
This is a lovely book to listen to. Perfect for a cold and stormy day....
Robin leaves her job that she loves as a Chef because of her to keen boss and makes maters worse finds her finance in bed with her so called best friend. What is a woman to do... well she packs up her bags and heads out of New York and back to her home Ohio. Oh it gets better ,while driving through Pennsylvania, her car breaks down in a snow storm, and while trying to get a blanket out of her back seat, she inadvertently hits her head locks herself out of the car!
Thankfully she is found by a teenage boy named Matt who takes her home with him. Matt's dad has bad luck with women. There is a connection between Robin and Chris,
Can they both get over their pasts and make a new life and a family life together.
Sit back and enjoy.

Sweet, Feel-Good Tale
It wasn’t hard to love Chris, Robin, Matt and Geri. They are all wonderful individuals with great personalities.
Chris and Robin have had their share of heartbreak and have decided to guard their hearts. A series of terrible events and a crazy snow storm bring the two together. Quickly the ice begins to melt as love and compassion warm their hearts and shows them just what a family together would be like.
Matt and Geri are adorable and I loved the bond that forms between them and Robin.
The ending was perfect. It had me smiling and shedding a few happy tears.

Heartwarming Cozy Romance
I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
This is a feel good romance that is one you should to listen to when you need a pick me up. The flow of the book is perfect, and the characters are lovable and endearing. This is my introduction to Stacy Eaton's work, and I was not disappointed. One of my pet peeves about a lot of romances out there is that they are actually erotica in disguise (the sexual content was appropriate to the story and not over the top), and I loved that this one was not that way. The narrator played the parts of the various characters perfectly, and I thoroughly enjoyed this book overall. I would highly recommend this book.

great story
Fantastic story about finding love where you least expect it.
After moving away from her life in the city, Robin almost freezes to death along the side of the road. Lucky for her Matt Landry, who was driving along the same road in the storm, saw her and brought her home. Even luckier, Robin gets a glimpse of the life she really wants and the family she wants it with.
The path to each other doesn't always run smoothly for Robin and Chris, but fate has a way of bringing people together, even when they can't get out of their own way to do it themselves...
This was a quick read and a really sweet story. I loved the characters and the happy ending was pretty perfect.

Wonderful Story & Narration🎧 A Heartfelt Delight!
This book is an enjoyable delight, the story is sweet and contains a whole lot of heart. Stacy Eaton is a gifted author, she grabs your attention right from the start and captivates straight to the end. Her descriptive details bring you right along side the characters, giving you an upfront and personal view of what the characters are seeing, thinking and feeling. The characters and storylines are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. Robin Cove, left her job, her cheating ex and with no game plan just left it all behind. When her car breaks down during a storm she realized she should have stayed on the highway, the rural roads in Pennsylvania are less traveled and there is little chance she will be found. Thankfully a young man was on his way home when he spotted her, she was unconscious and frozen. He brings her home and his father helps get her warm. Chris Landry is a single dad to a 16 year old son, Matt and a 5 year old daughter, Geri, both kids are awesome, Matt is a hero for rescuing Robin and Geri is just adorable, converses like the little adult she thinks she is. Chris has not had the best of luck when it came to women in his life, so when he feels instantly attracted to Robin he is very cautious, plus he has the kids to think about. Robin fits in easily with Chris and his family but she has decisions to make, what she wants to do with her life. I loved how everything plays out in this book, it is beautifully plotted, there is drama, a touch of angst from a wacky ex, some charming and heartfelt moments all leading to a wonderful romance and a HEA. Stacy Eaton, thank you for another amazing story, it is great to see another side of your creative mind.
Lisa Beacom is talented narrator and versatile voice artist. She brings these characters to life, giving each their own unique voice and personality. She was awesome at covering both male and female roles, her children’s voice was awesome too. You could hear how much heart she put into her work as she captures the characters emotions and projects them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen🎧

This was such a sweet love story. It had a heartwarming storyline, lovable characters, and a great ending. I'm looking forward to listening to more books in this series. Lisa Beacom did an amazing job bringing this story to life. I loved her wide range of different voices but I especially loved her portrayal of 5 year old Geri. She is a narrator I look forward to hearing more of. I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Mistletoe and Cocoa Kisses by Stacy Eaton is a warm a cozy story with fuzzy feelings. The characters of Chris and Robin are the feature couple in this book. Lisa Beacom is delightful at bringing the characters to life. She adds the right emotions and gives them distinguishable voices. This book is a standalone listen and beginning of a new series.

Warm and happy!
I love that holiday feel, a second chance at life and single dads! This one has a little of everything giving me that warm feeling. Chris Landry is a single father, and doesn't have the best luck with women. But when his son Matt brings Robyn in from the cold, things are about to change. Robyn is driving with her life in her car. Losing her job and her boyfriend all in the same day she is ready to find a new life. Now in a snowbank, locked out of her car, things are not looking good. But then she wakes up in a new house, with a dad an 2 kids, and this reminds her of what life should be. And now we get our new beginnings. The kids, Matt and Geri add a special layer of family, reminding us all the joys complexities of parenthood and we even have a crazy ex to add to the fun! It's a heartwarming and entertaining story that will leave you happy.
Lisa Beacom gives a warm and fuzzy performance. I enjoy Lisa's voices, each one special to the characters. She can move from adult to child in an instant and never miss a beat. Her portrayal adds to the story with emotions and passion making this a very enjoyable listen!

A good short story
This is the first book I've read/listened to by Stacy Eaton. It's hard to write believable short stories. This one was so close. Unfortunately insta love won out. It was a sweet, sexy read with great characters. I really loved the children. One I would listen to again if needing a short listen.
Lisa Beacon is a good narrator. She was easy to listen to and brought the story to life.
