I liked how the characters overcame rigid mentalities of their day, the narrated voices were a little off putting, but appreciate the effort. Nice story

Danielle finds herself constantly judged and punished for her upbringing, for a childhood that she had no control over, she is hoping for a new start and thankfully finds a delightfully kind Pastor and his wife in Redbud. This is a journey of discovery and hope for Danielle, for self reflection and assessment for Cullen and a number of difficult lessons for the community of Redbud to accept. Danielle is very sweet, Cullen can be tough to judge, but he judges himself with that same judgement...and finds himself lacking.
A sweet story packed with possibilities, hope and love, I listened to this on Audible.
