In the shadow of Chicago's elite Lincoln Park neighborhood, seventeen-year-old Bennett Stone has always lived between two worlds-the legitimate facade of his mother's prestigious law firm and the dark reality of the criminal empire that funds their lifestyle. Raised by Ms. Berta, a maternal figure who runs an upscale strip club, Bennett believes he understands the rules of survival in this morally ambiguous world.
But when his ex-girlfriend Harlow is found dead from an apparent overdose, Bennett is forced to confront the true cost of family loyalty. As he works to protect the ones he loves, he uncovers a web of betrayal that reaches into the heart of his own family. With each revelation, Bennett must choose between his remaining innocence and the brutal pragmatism required to survive in a world where everyone has blood on their hands.
A gripping crime thriller that explores the price of power and the impossibility of escaping one's origins, Missing In Lincoln Park is a dark coming-of-age story about a young man who discovers that sometimes the greatest enemies are those closest to home.
